THE SINK PAINTINGS
The site choice: a painting-studio sink area, was chosen because of its pre-existing textures and paint-marks. Images conjured by existing marks were painted onto the sink, in order to transform them into what was mentally imagined. Essentially, the process was a playful visual free-association exercise in response to the site.
