BETWEEN tWO
Between two is a constructed reality. Be it two lands, two people, or two…
The overlap of two distinctly different things produces a relation. This could entail conflict, intimacy, self-definition.
An overlap,
A grey area,
What is a sea?
A junction,
A demarcation of territory,
A passage,
An in-between,
A promise-land/paradise,
A mirage,
Constructed geographical thing,
Something to drown in
What is it to see?
You see,
In a sea – a blue sea, like a mirage,
are grey eddies,
scattered fragments swirl around,
I am
here
and here
and here
Believing I will be found whole,
here.
Whole,
where?
You see,
and are seen.
And in this simple act of reciprocal recognition,
between two,
is intimacy,
is belonging,
is wholeness.
